Find your way to HanseBird
HanseBird takes place on the premises of Wasserkunst Elbinsel Kaltehofe, Kaltehofe Hauptdeich 6-7, 20539 Hamburg.
Train and free bus shuttle
Eco-friendly, fast and convenient: Hop on the free bus shuttle to HanseBird! The bus starts in front of train station Tiefstack. To get there take the train S21 from Hamburg Central Station towards Bergedorf/Aumühle. Tiefstack is the third stop (traveling time: 8 minutes). You will find the timetable here.

If you do not mind stretching your legs take the train S21 as above, but already exit at Rothenburgsort. From this station it is a 25 minute walk to HanseBird.
Take one of the busses 120, 124, 130 until stop Zollvereinsstrasse or Billhorner Deich. From here it is about 15 minutes to get to the fairground.
Walking & cycling
There are bridges connecting Kaltehofe with the mainland. This makes HanseBird easily accessible by foot or bike. There are two StadtRAD-stations nearby (2681: Billstraße/Billhorner Deich and 2682: Rothenburgsort Marktplatz/Lindleystraße) where city-bikes can be hired and dropped off.
Take the chance and start your journey to HanseBird with some water-based sightseeing. The boat departs on sunday from Landungsbrücken (Brücke 10) at 12pm and 2pm, from Kaltehofe at 1pm and 3pm. One tour is approx. 50 minutes. Costs: 9,80 Euro (one way) or 11,80 Euro (return) per person.
You will find free parking along the road near train station Tiefstack. From here you can use the free bus shuttle to HanseBird.
Alternatively there is a carpark (fees apply) next to the fairground at the museum Wasserkunst Elbinsel Kaltehofe. Please note that there are limited lots available here.
